One of Sacred Waters most unique features, and something we are deeply proud of, is that every apartment is powered by natural geothermal energy drawn from the volcanic ground below - nature's remarkable gift and a defining characteristic of the Waikato region. This geothermal resource allows us to celebrate and showcase one of Taupō’s most extraordinary natural phenomena.

We respectfully acknowledge the local Māori marae who have entrusted us with the privilege of accessing this care and responsibility, and remain committed to protecting and preserving it for generations to come.

Geothermal energy heats our individual thermal hot tubes, outdoor lap pool and used geothermal water, to ensure the longevity of the resource.
